Where are our visitors from?

For many years Queensferry Primary School had the only council run nursery in South Queensferry, and as such we have had many children through our doors. Echline Primary School now have a nursery too, and between us we aim to continue to provide quality pre-school care and education, for ages 6 months to 5 years.

Below you'll find some information and pictures about the fun and the learning that goes on daily. Click each picture for a bigger version.

Morning session 9.00am - 11.30am

Afternoon session 12.30pm - 3.00pm

Our walls are filled with displays made by children and staff. We keep them topical and colourful.
The children can learn about maths in lots of fun ways.
By keeping the nursery full of things to look at and learn from, the children are learning even when they don't realise.
The children get to practise holding pens and pencils, and can either "write" for themselves or have fun following lines and shapes.
Playing in the water is great fun.
These children are digging for minibeasts in a tray of soil...
...and they found spiders!
Cooking in the kitchen, making dough models.
Our nursery uses computer games to teach the children about numbers and letters in a fun way.
Other children like to listen to stories using the computers.
As you might expect, the children get to play lots of games and take part in physical activities led by our staff.
